Our Programs

i understand recognizes the importance of educating communities on mental/brain health through positive and engaging programs. If interested in a program, or accessing materials to do so, please contact info@iunderstandloveheals.org.

Be the ONE Training

This educational training course is designed to raise awareness and inform participants about mental/brain health illness and suicide, while simultaneously changing the narrative and reducing stigma surrounding the topic.

Student Ambassador Program

Our ambassador program is highly focused on social media engagement in hopes of increasing the likelihood that ambassadors and their peers will engage with i understand’s content, thus learning about mental/brain health and suicide. Posts are related to i understand’s work and our events that they attended or encouraged their peers to attend. Additionally, students host tables at their school, focusing on a relevant topic on which they educate their peers.

i understand Cares

Grief boxes – Our grief boxes provide resources to support those who have experienced a loss due to a mental/brain health illness.

Sensory Bags – Our sensory bags recognize those who are sensitive to stimulation, and contain items to help support those who have sensory sensitivities.

Support Groups

After Loss – Join us as we navigate through the challenges and grief of life after a suicide loss.

Men’s – Join us as we navigate through life’s challenges, grief, and other obstacles men may face.

Suicide Attempt Survivor  – Join us as we support, understand, and provide hope to those who are suicide attempt survivors.

Pink Heart Project

The Pink Heart Project is a campaign to raise awareness and funds for i understand’s mission to provide compassionate comfort to those affected by suicide and mental/brain health illnesses and pain. Join us by donating one dollar in exchange for a pink heart to share with someone else to let them know you will “be the one.”

Wristband Project

How can we join together to normalize the mental/brain health conversation and feel empowered by showing the hidden illness or pain we are living with?

i understand believes that the first step is to stop hiding behind our illness or source of pain. We created the Wristband Project to start the conversation by providing wristbands for individuals to wear their illness/source of pain on their wrists to show others they are not alone.

Wear, Care, Share

Simply by wearing an i understand t-shirt, we evoke conversation. Care to let others know you understand, and share to help reduce stigma and judgment. i understand has given away over 14,000 t-shirts in support of this campaign.
